RE: Staff Engagement Workgroup (SEW) Self Nominations

The Staff Engagement Workgroup (SEW) is seeking new members and encourages interested staff to apply. SEW is a blended committee of campus staff that works to facilitate engagement across UC Santa Barbara staff. We promote initiatives that support employee empowerment, development, and recognition and we're always open to new ideas!

The SEW meets every other week and is responsible for analyzing and interpreting the campus staff engagement survey and translating the results into actionable items. Initiatives include but are not limited to the Gaucho Voice Staff Edition, the Service Milestone Awards Ceremony, the Staff Merchandise Design contest, Shoreline and the Super Group. 

The self nomination form is open now until August 1, 2024. Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you’d be a good fit for SEW. We will review applications throughout August and form the new group by September. If you have any questions, please reach out to Kelly Wood at kmwood@ucsb.edu.
