Dear UCSB Campus Community,
On July 15th, 2024, UCPath will introduce enhanced features that support the University's diversity initiatives and align with the Gender Recognition and Lived Name (GRLN) policy. This impacts all UCPath users.
What you need to know:
● A Self-Identification Wizard will guide you through the steps of self-identification for the following;
○ Gender identity
○ Sexual orientation
○ Pronouns selection
● Employees may choose to decline any or all of the items.
● Self-Identification must be completed before accessing UCPath.
Confidential
● Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation information is confidential.
● Managers and UCPath transactors will not have access to this information.
Not Confidential
● Pronouns are not confidential.
● Pronouns will be visible in UCPath to managers and transactors.
● If you do not want your pronouns displayed in the UCPath system, select Decline to State when prompted.
