RE:   Koegel Autism Center No-Cost Services for Teens and Adults

The Koegel Autism Center would like to announce three services available to teen and adult family members of all UCSB Staff and Faculty (and the larger Santa Barbara community) at no cost.

Creative Club (Adults only) is a community of kind and supportive neurodiverse adults and allies who meet weekly to express and share their experiences through creativity and art. If interested in Summer or Fall club meetings, please contact autism@ucsb.edu. The Club typically meets on Fridays from 4-5 pm

Teen Hangout Group (Ages 12-17) is a weekly group for neurodiverse teenagers in the community looking to connect with peers. If you know teens interested in participating this Summer or Fall, please complete this form! This group typically meets on Thursdays from 5-6 pm

*** Specific start dates for Teen Hangout and Creative Club will be selected based on expressed interest in the coming weeks.

*** Please note that Teen Hangout and Creative Club are NOT intervention groups. They are drop-in clubs for individuals who identify as neurodivergent.

Social Tools And Rules for Teens (START) (Ages 12-17) is a free group socialization 10-week program for adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. For more detailed information please visit START’s program overview page and contact Aniela Bordofsky @anielabordofsky@ucsb.edu to enroll teens in future program cohorts.
