You’re invited to participate in virtual and in-person forums to learn more about Secure UCSB, the university’s initiative to improve cybersecurity and comply with a new University of California systemwide mandate.
Faculty, researchers, staff, and students should familiarize themselves with security and general technology changes impacting university-owned devices as well as network services to avoid losing access to UCSB resources and tools.
We’re hosting four informational forums led by Shea Lovan, Chief Technology Officer, and Jackson Muhirwe, Chief Information Security Officer. We invite you to attend the sessions that fit your interest and schedule.
Secure UCSB: Unified Network Service Transition
Learn about changes to UCSB’s network services, including potential outages during the academic year and a new internet service support model to help manage campus needs.
