Dear Colleagues,
The Federal Work-Study program is quickly approaching its total allocation for the 2024-2025 academic year. As a result, we are implementing a Work-Study referral cut-off date for this academic year.
Work-Study Referral Availability Cut-Off: April 2, 2025
New Referral Submission Deadline: April 9, 2025
Work-Study referrals will be available to students until April 2, 2025. After this date, students will no longer be able to accept their Work-Study awards or access their Work-Study referrals in My Aid Status for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The deadline for on-campus departments to submit new Work-Study referrals is set for April 9, 2025. All referrals must be received via finaidwsp@sa.ucsb.edu by the close of business (5:00 PM) on April 9. Referrals received after this date will not be processed.
When submitting Work-Study referrals, UCPath payroll initiators must ensure that the correct Work-Study pool ID is listed in the student’s position and funding information. If the data on the referral does not match the position information, we will not be able to process it on time.
All Work-Study related inquiries should continue to be submitted to finaidwsp@sa.ucsb.edu.
