2026 March 6 National Staff Appreciation Day
Please join us on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at Cheadle Plaza as we celebrate National Staff Appreciation Day!
Enjoy a burrito from campus catering while connecting with your UC Santa Barbara colleagues. You’ll have the chance to meet with various Campus Staff Groups, snap a photo with Storky, and enter a prize drawing for items from the Campus Store, Arts & Lectures, and more.

2026 Staff Citation Award Nominations
The UCSB Staff Assembly is now accepting nominations for the 2025-2026 Staff Citation of Excellence Awards to celebrate outstanding staff achievements.
Eligible nominees include policy-covered PSS, MSP, and career CX employees who have completed their probationary period. To participate, please submit a nomination form and one endorsement letter via the Staff Assembly website by Friday, March 6th.
While we appreciate the love, most IT and student worker titles are not eligible per the award rules.
