Problem

You are trying to logĀ intoĀ yourĀ @engineering.ucsb.eduĀ email by using <username>@engineering.ucsb.edu on UCSB Connect, but can't.

Solution

The reason you can't, is becauseĀ yourĀ @engineering.ucsb.eduĀ email is considered an aliasĀ toĀ yourĀ @ucsb.eduĀ address.

TheĀ @ucsb.eduĀ address is considered the primary login for all your email accounts, which includesĀ theĀ @engineering.ucsb.eduĀ address as well.

If you wish to have your UCSB Connect Account to use a specific email address as the default, please refer to the following:
