My UCSBNetID is about to expire...

Problem

You or someone in your group has received a notice stating that their UCSBNetID will be expiring soon.

Solution

Unfortunately, neither the College of Engineering (CoE) or Engineering Computing Infrastructure (ECI) has control over this.

You should contact your MSO or Business Officer of your department to contact Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) to see about updating the status of the user's affiliation with your department and status for the UCSBNetID

If you get an account expiration notice, please double check which account is expiring.

Your UCSBnetID is NOT the same as your CoE/ECI/CS account and both are different from your Google Connect Account, they can have completely separate expiration dates
You can see your CoE account expiration date at https://accounts.engr.ucsb.edu/maintain/login or https://eci.ucsb.edu/account-creation-links then "maintain your account"

If you see "Your account will expire 30 days after your UCSBnetID expires in Identity" it means your CoE account has been extended as far in the future as possible at this time
