Defining what the Google Shared Drive Settings that are available

Sharing Outside University of California, Santa Barbara
This setting is whether or not the contents in the Shared Drive can be shared with users who do not have a UCSB Connect account.
By default, Files/Folders can be shared to people outside of UCSB by Shared Drive Members with Contributor or higher permissions.
If you wish to restrict it to people within UCSB, this can be changed by Right Clicking on the Shared Drive and selecting Shared Drive Settings and then clicking on EDIT next to Sharing outside University of California, Santa Barbara and setting it to Only people inside University of California, Santa Barbara can be given access to the files in this Shared Drive.
This setting should be set to Only people inside University of California, Santa Barbara can be given access to the files in this Shared Drive if any of the documents in the Shared Drive will contain FERPA Information or data that should not be shared outside of Campus.
Sharing with Non-Members
This setting is whether or not the contents in the Shared Drive can be shared with users who are not members of the Shared Drive.
By default, Files/Folders can be shared to Non-Shared Drive Members by Shared Drive Members with Contributor or higher permissions.
If you wish to restrict it to people within the Shared Drive, this can be changed by Right Clicking on the Shared Drive and selecting Shared Drive Settings and then clicking on EDIT next to Sharing outside University of California, Santa Barbara and setting it to Only members of this Shared Drive can access files in this Shared Drive.
Download, copy, and print
This setting is whether or not the content in the Shared Drive can be Downloaded, Copied or printed by Commenters or Viewers.
By default, all Shared Drive Members can Download, Copy to the Google Drive or Print any files or folders they have access to in the Shared Drive.
If you wish to prevent Commenters and Viewers from doing this, it can be changed by Right Clicking on the Shared Drive and selecting Shared Drive Settings and then clicking on EDIT next to Download, copy, and print and then selecting Prevent commenters and viewers from downloading, copying, and printing files in this Shared Drive.
