How do I use the turnin program to turn in my assignment?
If your class requires you to use the turnin to submit your assignment, please be sure to do the following:

- Log onto one of the CSIL machines, such as csil-01.cs.ucsb.edu to csil-48.cs.ucsb.edu.
- If your assignment is on your computer/laptop/flash drive, copy your files to your home directory by making use of SCP/WinSCP to csil-01.cs.ucsb.edu and move the files into the directory your assignment is suppose to be in based on your class syllabus. Please note that each class will have a slightly different directories, it you are unsure of what directory to use, please ask your class TA.
- On the csil machine, type the following command:
turnin <Name of assignment>@<coursename> <file/folder> <file/folder>
This will submit the file/folder that has your assignment to your class TA.
