If you are requesting a College of Engineering account, you will have to be eligible for an account as per Who is eligible for an account on College of Engineering computers?

If you are student requesting an account near the end of the quarter, it is best to wait for the next quarter (if you are enrolled in a College of Engineering eligible course) and create your account then.

Otherwise, please contact your major's department to have them request an account on their behalf if you need it before hand, as we need their authorization.
