How do I reset my password for UCSB Connect Mail?

Problem

You have forgotten your password for UCSB Connect Mail.

Solution

As a precautionary, we also want to remind users that when you are connecting to your UCSB Connect Mail, that the username you are logging in with is in the following format:

UCSBNetID@ucsb.edu

In order to reset your password for UCSB Connect Mail, you will need to go to:

UCSB Identity and Directory Services

From there, go to Directory Editor and click on the Forgot UCSBNetID or password? button.

This will then allow you to verify who you are and set a new password for your UCSBNetID.

Note

The password change can take up to 30 minutes for it to go into effect. So please be patient with it.
