Problem

You are trying to log into your @engineering.ucsb.edu email by using <username>@engineering.ucsb.edu on UCSB Connect, but can't.

Solution

The reason you can't, is because your @engineering.ucsb.edu email is considered an alias to your @ucsb.edu address.

The @ucsb.edu address is considered the primary login for all your email accounts, which includes the @engineering.ucsb.edu address as well.

If you wish to have your UCSB Connect Account to use a specific email address as the default, please refer to the following:
